Registering A Digital Certificate

I have received my digital certificate from Verisign. Now what do I do?

Before a digital certificate can be used with the ICS, it must be installed and registered correctly. We have designed a step-by-step installer package to assist you in getting connected to the ICS.

For a new organisation

To access the Customs Interactive home page go to https://www.ccf.customs.gov.au/. Select the “Register for Customs Interactive” menu item. This will start the registration process.

To complete the registration, complete the 4 steps and sign the Customs Interactive User Agreement.

For more information about registering for the first time see user guide How to Self- Register your organisation (PDF 1.38MB).

For a new user

To access the Customs Interactive home page go to https://www.ccf.customs.gov.au/. Select the “Login to Customs Interactive” menu item and follow the prompts.

This will put your registration into “Pending” status, and then your Administrator will need to confirm your registration.

Alternatively, your administrator can register a digital certificate on your behalf.

For more information about registering as a new user see user guide How to create a new user or device (type 3) (PDF 938KB).

Department of Home Affairs public keys

For users communicating with ICS via EDI, these keys are an essential part of your EDI software. We recommend that you check with your software developer to confirm that your software includes these keys.
