Stories of resettled humanitarian entrants

Australia contributes to efforts to find solutions for refugees in a number of ways. The Humanitarian Programme administered by the Department, is one element of Australia’s contribution providing resettlement in Australia for refugees and others in humanitarian need.

Many humanitarian entrants have made contributions to Australian society, including reaching elite sporting levels, beginning successful businesses, achieving academic success and volunteering to assist people in need.
